Welcome to Racing To A Cure

This is a new venture to support and help reach our goal for “Building to a Cure”. Kimal Lumber Company is a huge supporter of All Children’s Hospital and The Ronald McDonald House. This year Racing to a Cure, Inc. was created and we have decided to sell advertising spots on a race car for donations. The cost of racing the car will be offset by other funds outside the advertising. Volunteers from Kimal Lumber and the community will maintain and race the car at Charlotte County Motor Sport Park. All winnings and monies not used from outside sponsors will go directly to Racing to a Cure, Inc. which in turn will go directly to the three chosen charities: All Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The project is headed by Racing to a Cure, Inc President and driver Craig Berntsen. Every third week will be an off week and we will travel to other speedways for sponsorship exposure. The car will also appear in several other events such as local car shows, and all events in the community that support “Building to a Cure”, or are sponsored by Kimal Lumber Company, or Racing to a Cure, Inc. sponsors. Racing to a Cure is a proud member of both the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce. The car will also be on display at several Chamber events throughout our communities. The Exposure with all involvements is incredible, and well worth a donation to help the children in our communities.

Your sponsorship donations will be greatly appreciated and will earn your business logo and name on the racecar. The size of sponsorship will determine the size and location of your business logo. This can be worked out on a one on one basis. The car body is a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo (like NASCAR late models). All logos will be legible and stand out on the car for the entire season. All damage will be repaired before the next race. All Digital Logo work and graphics have already been donated by Graphic Xpressions. Because sponsorships are to a Non-Profit Organization, all donations are tax deductible. We are asking for a one season commitment- paid on a monthly basis or in a lump sum.
