Get Involved with Racing to a Cure

It is easy to get involved with Racing to a Cure.  When it comes to Children who need help weather medically or not, it is important to get involved.  I have chosen to get involved for many reasons, one of them is how these three charities helped my family.  My second Daughter, Cassandra was hospitalized at The All Children's Hospital for 79 days starting the day she was born.  All Children's Hospital is 80 miles one way from home.  I could not afford to travel every day to visit my daughter.  We quickly learned that the Ronald McDonald House was available and only charged $10.00 and we had to do some chores.  What a blessing to have such caring people support the families like mine when in need.  Most recently Cassandra was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes.  Again All Children's Hospital saved my daughter's life.  I quickly learned of a foundation that is making very impressive headway in finding a cure for TYPE 1 Diabetes.  So I decided to also support and raise funds for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
